MCUThorAction is a fan-run fundraiser initiative focused on MCU Thor, Loki, and Hela. It has been inspired by other fandom Gotcha for Gaza charity events held for the people of Palestine.No material in this event is officially associated with Marvel or the Marvel Cinematic Universe. HOW IT WORKS:
For donations of $5 USD to any of the fundraisers listed, you will be able to receive a fanwork (either fanfic/fanart) from one of the amazing volunteers!Do note that while we are accepting dead dove prompts, this is a SFW event, and NSFW prompts will not be accepted!Posting fanwork, prompt submissions, and donations, can be done anonymously, but an email must be provided.More information can be found below!
BOYCOTT NOTICEWe acknowledge that the BDS National Committee and other organisations have called for widespread boycotts of Disney, and specifically Marvel’s upcoming Captain America film which will introduce the character ‘Sabra’/’’Ruth Bat-Seraph’.No film prompts related to 2024/2025 upcoming films will be accepted. We acknowledge Zionist film-makers and actor contributions to the MCU, and will not be taking RPF/RPart submissions either.We encourage a boycott of Disney/Marvel subscriptions services, film releases, and merchandise, and encourage donations to Palestine instead of supporting the Zionist entity.

Requirements
Prompts must feature the MCU characters Loki, Thor, or Hela, as a main subject. One of these characters or any combination of them together is acceptable. Prompts about the Thor movies or the Loki series are allowed.Prompts must be SFW. Relationships are permitted, as long as the prompts are not sexually explicit/NSFW. Kissing and implied/referenced sex are the most a prompt can request.We will do our best to match a creator who can fill your prompt, but we ask you to provide a backup prompt in case!Dead Dove
Dead dove prompts are allowed within the SFW limit, and include implied/referenced sexual content. It will be the creators choice how this is done, and you may be contacted if a creator needs any clarification!Non-sexual dead dove themes can be as explicit as liked in a prompt, as long as a creator is willing to take it on!Hela/Thor/Loki variations (e.g. thorki) are permitted as SFW dead dove, so please indicate them as dead dove in your submission!Timeline
The prompt posting schedule is subject to change, and while every donation will get a fanwork, it is possible that the current dates are extended to allow creators more time where needed. An announcement will be made if this is the case.Receiving Filled Prompts
When your requested fanwork is completed, the moderators can notify you by email or social media. It can also be gifted to you on AO3, or tagged when posted on Twitter/Tumblr if you have provided this information during submission.If you prefer not to be tagged or named in your fanwork, please let us know in the appropriate section of the form.You are able to submit prompts anonymously and still receive an email notification.Multiple Prompt Submission
You can submit up to three different prompts on a single submission form. If you would like to submit four or more different prompts, please submit the form multiple times and include your proof of donation in each one.If you would like to submit multiple of the same prompt, please indicate this in your prompt submission

At least a cleaned up sketch for artists, and at least a 1000 word fanfic for writers. Feel free to go beyond that, but do not burn yourself out!Timeframe
You will be given at least 1 month to finish filling your prompt(s). You may contact the mods to ask for an extension if you need more time.Prompts
The creator sign-up form will have a space to specify what characters/relationships/themes you would prefer to create for.There will also be a space to indicate what you do not want to create for. Creators can contact a mod to reject prompts that they are uncomfortable with.Hela/Thor/Loki variations (e.g. thorki) are permitted as SFW dead dove. All work is expected to be tagged appropriately, and creators will not be forced to write for dead dove topics.We will try to match you with a suitable prompt, but keep in mind that every prompt will need to be filled! NSFW prompts will not be permitted. How to Donate$5 USD donation = 1 SFW fanworkYou can donate multiple times, but the amount donated has to cover the amount of fanworks that you are requesting.

This is often a verification email response. FAQ
How can I contact the mod team? Through Tumblr/Twitter (@mcuthoraction) or email ([email protected]).Can I ask for a crossover? Yes! However, if no creators are familiar enough with the crossover text your backup prompt will be used. If you can DM your crossover prompt to the mcuthoraction Tumblr page, or contact the team at [email protected], we can check beforehand if anyone can fill it!Is Thor/Loki allowed? Yes, as long as the prompt remains SFW, it is allowed as SFW dead dove.How many prompts can I send? As long as your donation amount covers the number of prompts, you can submit as many as you like! You will have to either fill the form multiple times for different prompts, OR can indicate if you want to submit multiple of the same prompt.Can minors sign up as creators? Yes! As this is a SFW event we do not expect any sexually explicit prompts. This means minors are free to submit and create for prompts. While Dead Dove topics can vary, writers and artists can state their preferences about these when signing up, or contact us to adjust them during the event.Are Loki series prompts accepted? Yes, Loki series prompts featuring the main Loki are allowed! This includes ships such as Mobius/Loki and Sylvie/Loki. Similarly, series prompts which feature Thor or Hela are also allowed.Are we allowed to request art prompts including an OC if we provide a description? Yes! Requesting art/fic featuring Thor Loki or Hela with an OC is allowed. You can also provide a reference image if you like via a link in your prompt description. However, don't forget to submit a backup prompt!
